The CSSC monitors the implementation of the school site plan for student achievement, evaluates the results, and modifies the site plan as needed.

3.   Reminder about 3^rd Annual SPSA Summit (January 10, 2009)
“The 3^rd Annual SPSA Summit is January 10, 2009. The purpose is to offer sites extra support through the Single Plan for Student Achievement process. We want schools to bring their SSC’s, ELAC’s and any member of their school community who should be a part of this process. Workshops will focus on how to assess the needs of your school using data and how to match dollars to those needs.”

5.   Discuss, modify, and approve the Single Plan for Student Achievement (Site Plan) for 2008-2009

Enrolling at Oakland Tech for 2009-10

Parents of incoming Oakland Tech students are encouraged to review this guide to the 2009-2010 enrollment process, which includes information covering:

• the new OUSD High School Options process
• submitting the Options form (the Options application window occurs between December 10th to January 15th)
• the additional steps required of students who do not currently attend an OUSD school.

Winter Edition of The Scribe

The December 2008/January 2009 Edition of Oakland Tech’s Journalism Club publication, The Scribe, has been published, and includes stories on a proposed closed campus lunch policy for next year, the college application process for seniors, and a summary of the Fall ‘08 sports seasons.
