Goals:
  • Increase parent participation at Oakland Tech
  • Involve parents and families in helping their child/children reach their goals
  • Collaborate with other Oakland Tech programs and activities

Sample of Projected Activities:

  • Coordinate parent education workshops:
    • A-G college and career readiness requirements
    • Understanding test scores and grading
  • Host relationship-building events:
    • Parent recognition/awards event
    • Bingo night
  • Form parent leadership groups
  • Provide educational resources and support to families
