AC Transit service from Montclair and Upper Rockridge

Good news for riders of Route 662 - Update October 1, 2009

Effective October 5th, 2009, the start of the westbound Line 662 trip that leaves Moraga & Medau (Montclair Park) at 8:01am will be extended to Mountain Blvd, just north of Woodminster Lane (in front of the Round Table Pizza). The trip will leave the stop at 7:55am.

All existing 662 stops along Mountain Blvd between Joaquin Miller Rd and Montclair Park that are currently used by other 662 trips will be observed. The route will then continue to serve the current route at the current times.

Here are the details for the new bus service to Tech from Montclair and Upper Rockridge. The route number is 662 and it begins on August 31st. Because of some scheduling problems, the morning ride (westbound) begins in Montclair Village, not at Joaquin Miller and Mountain as previously described. However, the afternoon ride (eastbound) will go all the way to JM and Mountain. With all the budget cuts, we can feel thankful to get new service, and there may be some changes made to the route later in the year so that the morning ride can start at JM and Mountain.

Mountain Blvd, just north of Woodminster Lane (in front of the Round Table Pizza), bus will leave this stop at 7:55am (added effective 10/5/09).
