We have concluded our events for prospective families, including an Information Night in early Nov. and a series of campus tours in Nov. and Dec. Shadow visits for 8th grade students ended on Friday, Jan. 12.
If you attended one of the school tours we held in Nov. or Dec., we’d greatly appreciate your feedback — what worked, what didn’t and what improvements you suggest we consider for next year and beyond. We encourage you to get a sense of who we are and what we offer by browsing our website, attending athletic and performing arts events, and stopping by one (or more) of our monthly PTSA meetings, which frequently include Q & A sessions with one of our principals. Check the calendar for dates and times. We also encourage you to review how we work to nurture a tight-knit and supportive 9th grade community.
The enrollment season for the 2018-19 school year opened on November 13, 2017 and closed on January 26, 2018. Learn about the process here, which includes a first-ever option to apply online.
Families will be notified of student placement in early March, which allows time to appeal (if desired) and to finalize enrollment prior to the end of the current school year.
Please note that all enrollment decisions are made at the district level.
Even if students are too late to apply during the initial winter enrollment period, OUSD’s system allows late applicants to access available spaces throughout the district.
