Booster Club

The Oakland Tech Sports Booster Club exists for the purpose of supporting the school’s athletic programs, its student-athletes and coaches. The Booster Club relies heavily on the dedication and hard work of parent volunteers to help raise money and run events. There are many different fundraisers run throughout the year including concessions for football and basketball games, and merchandise sales.
Booster Club Volunteer Roles
We are in critical need of new Booster Club members and officers to ensure that Tech’s Athletic programs can continue to flourish. You can help by choosing to participate in the Oakland Tech Booster Club in one of many different roles, including:
- Booster Club Member – Attend monthly meetings, participate in planning and support of various Booster Club activities and fundraising events.
- Booster Club Officers – President, Secretary, Treasurer
- Team Parent – represent your son or daughter’s team on the Booster Club, attend monthly meetings, serve as communication liaison between coaches, families, and the Booster Club.
- Team Website Manager – Keep the Oakland Tech Athletics website (www.oaklandtechathletics.com) up to date with sport schedules, results, news, announcements and photos.
- Fundraising Coordinator – plan and coordinate various Booster Club fundraising activities
- Concessions Volunteer – work at concession stand for OT Football or Basketball game(s)
