Oakland Tech senior James Harris was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays with the final compensation round pick of the 2011 draft.  Harris was the 60th player selected in the draft, and the first Oakland Tech player drafted since Michael Denard in 1998.   James, whose parents, James and Vonncile, also attended Oakland Tech, helped lead the Bulldogs to the 2011 TransBay Series Championship last month.
