Registration for the Spring 2011 Lacrosse season is now open!

The Skyline Lacrosse Club HS and Oakland Tech Lacrosse join efforts to bring lacrosse to high school athletes in Oakland. The Boys Varsity and JV teams, and Girls team, comprise players from Skyline and Oakland Technical High Schools, as well as other schools in the East Bay that don’t offer lacrosse. Registration costs $350 for non-OUSD students; Skyline and Tech provide support for their students, so registration is only $250 for students attending OUSD high schools Scholarships are also available.
Last spring the club fielded Boys Varsity and JV teams, and a Girls team. Registration priority will be given to players on the teams last spring; public registration is open for a limited number of roster spots. If necessary, evaluation tryouts will be held in February to distribute players to the Varsity and JV teams. To register online go to: http://www.sportability.com/spx/leagues/Client.asp?ClientID=529
For players from last spring: When you log into Sportability, click on the second button, “Restricted Player Registration,” and then click on the player’s name in the drop down list. If you know your player will NOT be playing this spring, please let me know so I can remove them from the restricted player list and free up a spot for a new player.
For players not on the club last spring: In Sportability click on the first button, “Open Player Registration”.
When you get to the payment page enter the discount code “ousd” to get the discount for OUSD players, which reduces the registration fee from $350 to $250. Partial and full scholarships are also available, based on need; please contact me if you are interested in a scholarship.
If there are no more roster spots open when you register, you will be asked to register on the wait list. If we get a large enough wait list, we will create a fourth team. Complete the registration process on Sportability so we can contact you if a roster spot opens up.
To register online you will need the following information; please have it on hand before you start:
1. Participant’s Contact Info: Name, Address, Email, Phone
2. School and Grade
3. Personal Info: Date of Birth, Height, Weight, Gender
4. TShirt/Jersey/Short Size
5. Parents’ Contact Info: Name, Address, Email, Phone for Parent/Guardian
6. Medical/Emergency Info: Health Plan, Doctor’s Name, Doctor’s Phone, Medical Notes
7. Previous Experience: Years Played, Skill Level, Positions, Previous Team
8. Payment Information: Discount (if applicable), Credit Card Info
