Tech wrapped up its season with shutout victories over Castlemont at home and O-High on the road. The boys ended their up-and-down season on a high note. First, the Bulldogs handed a 2-0 defeat to Castlemont at home behind goals from Francisco Mendoza and Julio Septien. Then Alex Benson provided the lone tally against O-High on the road. These were the first two shutouts of the season for the Tech boys. Other than its opener against defending the defending NCS champs, Tech was in every game this season, never losing by more than a goal. Tech finished the OAL at 3-3-1*.
* Tech dropped its OAL opener to Fremont 3-2, but there are unconfirmed rumors swirling that the game was a forfeit victory for Tech due to ineligible players. If so, Tech’s OAL record is 4-3-1. If not, Tech’s OAL record is 3-4-1. Congratulations to all the players for their hard work and commitment throughout the long winter season. And extra special congratulations to our dedicated seniors: Julio Septien, Christian Kremer, Eddie Ashley, Connor Williams, Hector Leon, Jacinto Obrera, Miguel Montiel, and Murphy Keller.
