Unfortunately, we did not get enough deposits in time to secure all the beds we needed. The retreat center no longer has enough beds for us. But we will have team activities that weekend. Stay tuned for more info. (Checks will be returned at practice.)

Dear Players and Parents: The team retreat will take place December 3-5 at the Point Bonita YMCA in the Marin Headlands. Coach Bover, one of our varsity coaches, has a great weekend program in store for all the players. While all varsity players are expected to attend, the retreat will be open to ALL players in the program, and everyone is welcome. coachbover@gmail.com)

We will be relying on parents for rides and Friday dinner. After practice on December 3, players and parents will take care of dinner and collaborate to get the players to Point Bonita. This will help us keep costs down as buses are expensive. We will stay at the YMCA retreat center on the night of December 3 and 4. The YMCA will provide all meals on Saturday, December 4 and meals through the middle of the day on Sunday, December 5. We ask that parents pick up the players at 4pm on December 5.

Coach Bover negotiated a rate of $90/player for both nights and all the meals. The price covers two of our four coaches. The retreat center usually charges $85/night with meals for kids under 18. So Coach Bover is making this happen at half price! This will be a weekend to remember for the players and will serve as our launching pad into the first games of the season (both Varsity and JV) the following week. We encourage all players to attend.

What we need:

1. $90 as soon as you (the player) has committed to attending.

2. Parent volunteers to help coordinate rides and/or Friday dinner.

1. Packing list.

2. Reminders about deposits and parent volunteers.

Mandatory Boys Soccer Tryouts will be Nov 15 – Nov 19. On Mon, Tues, and Fri., tryouts begin @ 3:45p. On Wed. @ 1:20p – meet in the classroom in the Boys Gym. Thurs., varsity pool will practice at 3:45p and JV pool will practice at 5:30p. Pools will be announced Wednesday after practice and posted Thursday morning on the website.  Players must have a completed physical to try out.
