CONFLICT RESOLUTION: If a student is called from your room for Conflict Resolution, please support our efforts to maintain a safe school environment and allow the student to participate. Conflict resolution is an important component to our Tech’s Safety Plan! If you have any questions about this, see Urana Jackson-Smith.

ENERGY FACTS: Schools spend $700 million a year on energy. Up to 40% can be avoided by energy efficiency practices, Nationally, 1 of 8 students are in California, 100,000 new students arrive in California schools each year, 6.2 million students, teachers and staff spend their day in California schools. Each teacher can make a difference by remaining cognizant of classroom energy use. (Energy tips to follow in future bulletins).

21ST CENTURY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: Oakland Tech’s “Success After School Program” is the Number #1 in Oakland Unified School District. We also have one of the top programs in the state of CA. We are “exceeding” our attendance numbers mandated by 21st Century & CDE. We have about 20 quality programs being offered here at Oakland Tech with great student attendance! With that said… We will also be an example to other programs from the city and state levels. We must continue to be on point at all times and continue the daily fantastic programming and work! “Thank You Staff” for all your support and your roles in Success Oakland Tech ASP.
