Mural Unveiling

Talented local artist and parent Pamela Consear has worked with Tech students since last spring to produce some wonderful murals on large canvases, including a Rickey Henderson mural for the new baseball field and several others. They are painted on large canvases and will begin their exhibition at Tech in the library.

Everyone is invited to come for a small reception and “unveiling” of these original works of art on Monday, December 14th, from 6:00-7:00pm in the Oakland Tech Library (preceding the monthly PTSA meeting). Pamela received a mini-grant for art supplies and a grant from Philanthropic Ventures Foundation, an Oakland organization that gives small grants to school groups (among others).
