Short-Term Education Program for Underrepresented Persons (STEP-UP)

The goal of this program is to increase the number of underrepresented minority and disadvantaged students in the research pipeline who are committed to a career in biomedical, behavioral, clinical, or social science research.

Student participation allowance: $2,300.00

The research experience is provided nationally by experienced investigators in their laboratories for 8 consecutive weeks of full-time research. Visit the NIDDK STEP-UP website at http://stepup.niddk.nih.gov and submit an on-line high school application.
