Here at Oakland Tech, all students enrolled in AP classes are required to take the corresponding AP exams in the spring.
We want to give our families advance notice that OUSD will not pay for exams this year.
This means students and families are responsible for paying the fees — $94 per exam. Students will need to submit payment in the second semester by check and money order made out to Oakland Technical High School.
Students enrolled in the Free & Reduced Meal program must provide proof of their enrollment in order to receive a fee waiver or reduction. Families should receive enrollment verification in the mail. A copy of that notice is sufficient and must be submitted with other required AP paperwork in early second semester. Students may also get a letter from the cafeteria manager.

Additionally, students with disabilities must apply to the College Board directly to have accommodations approved. The deadline for accommodation requests is Feb. 23, 2018. Please check the College Board website for more information and specific testing dates.
