New OUSD Policy for All OAL Football Games

PoliciesSchool NewsComments Off on New OUSD Policy for All OAL Football Games

OUSD has established a new policy for all Oakland Athletic League High School football games. Starting now, every person who attends games MUST SHOW valid identification to enter the stadium. This policy is in place because of several incidents that led to the premature conclusion of a varsity game on Oct. 6.

Guidelines

  • All adults attending games must show a drivers license, California ID card, passport or valid college ID at the gate
  • All OUSD students must show IDs from one of the two schools represented at the games at the gate. (Tech students: If you do not have your student ID, please see Ms. Cummings in the Counseling Office to obtain a free temporary ID)
  • Young people who do not attend either participating school, must be accompanied by a responsible adult
  • If the parent of an athlete in the game does not have proper ID, s/he must contact school administration prior to the game to make arrangements to be identified at the gate

Let’s work together to enforce these rules and help create safe, sportsmanlike environments for everyone at our games.
