Oakland Tech’s College & Career Center (CCC) provides guidance, support and inspiration to Tech students as they explore college and career journeys after high school. Located in Room 16, the center is open five days a week to students on a drop-in basis or by appointment. It houses programs provided by an array of community partners, including UC Berkeley.
Students and parent/guardians are encouraged to sign up for text notifications regarding college applications, financial aid, college fairs, SAT/ACT Prep and other timely alerts. Text the following grade appropriate code to 81010:

Ms. Hunter arranges the dozens of college representative visits to Tech in the fall. She also co-leads the Road to College information series, Tech College Crunch days and more.
EAOP is committed to closing the opportunity gap and increasing access to higher education for underserved students, families and communities. Staff provides academic advising and course planning; college and financial aid information; scholarship application assistance; SAT Reasoning Test preparation; and academic enrichment opportunities for students and their families.
HOURS: Monday – Thursday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Friday by appointment.

UC Berkeley’s Pre-College TRIO Program provides intensive motivational counseling and tutoring aimed to support OUSD high school students.
