The Bulldog JV team was also victorious, defeating Castlemont 2-0.

Thank you, Seniors, and congratulations on a great year, Bulldogs!
The Oakland Tech varsity volleyball team defeated McClymonds, 3-0 (25-7, 25-9, 26-24) on Tuesday, sweeping the season series from the Warriors.
The Oakland Tech varsity volleyball team dropped their 2nd consecutive 5-game match, and 2nd match of the season, falling to the Fremont Tigers at Fremont on Thursday. The Bulldogs won the first two games of the match, 25-17 and 25-18, before Fremont got their act together to take games 3 and 4, 25-18 and 25-20.
Game 5 was a see-saw battle all the way, with no team gaining more than a 2-point advantage throughout, until Fremont pulled away at the end for the 15-12 victory.
With first place at stake, the previously undefeated Oakland Tech volleyball team dropped its first match of the season to Skyline, 3-2 (26-24, 24-26, 25-16, 22-25, 12-15), in front of a raucous crowd at the Dog Pound. The loss creates a tie at the top of the OAL, as Tech and Skyline have split their two matches. If both teams win the rest of their matches and finish the season with one loss, then the teams would probably play a playoff match to determine the OAL champ.
