The OakTech community has a right to be proud of what the Oakland Technical High School Ice Hockey team has accomplished in a short 6 month period.

Many thanks to the team manager, Ms. Haskins, Head Coach Timothy Lyons, Assistant Coach James Halpin, Assistant Coach Thomas Sedaka, and players of one of California’s first public high school ice hockey teams. Advanced skating techniques and strategies taught by Coaches Cyril Allen and Mark were invaluable. This inaugural season was filled with excitement, personal triumphs, and loads of cliff-hanger potential.

If you take a look at the scoresheets, you will appreciate how much these goalies withstood and how much additional game experience they collected while giving the Bulldogs incredible goal tending.
