End of Year BBQ

Come celebrate the end of a superb school year, thank each other for supporting this great school, and extend a warm welcome to new students joining us in the fall!

Scholarship Awards Ceremony

The 2013 Scholarship Award Ceremony will be held at Oakland Technical High School on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm in the Tech auditorium.

STAR Testing

STAR testing takes place next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for grades 9-11 from 8:30-12:45 (breaks are scheduled). Students in those grades should be in class and ready to begin at 8:30.

Second Abduction Attempt

Again yesterday (4/24) and initially last Monday (4/15) a driver in a grey, 80's era car with a dark roof and white trunk tried to get a female Oakland Tech student to get in his car. Click the link above for additional information and to view photos of the vehicle.

Safety on the Street Workshop

In response to recent incidents targeting OTHS students as well as a rise in neighborhood crime, the Oakland Schools Police Department will conduct a safety workshop on Monday, May 6th.

The California Healthy Kids Survey is being administered in Oakland Schools during February, collecting input from students, parents, and staff to guide school improvement decisions.

Ride for a Reason 2013

Health Academy Helping at Blood Drive

The Health Academy students will help at the 102 Heroes Blood Drive at Studio One on September 22. There will be free food, an art show, raffle prizes and more!
