Health Academy Blood Drive

Academy Selection Process

The Oakland Tech Academy selection process begins in late February, and will include presentations, Academy Fair, and interviews.

College Night for Juniors

Oakland Tech Juniors and their parents are cordially invited to attend College Information Night on Thursday, April 19th, from 5:30 to 8 pm in the Tech library.

Healthy Kids Survey

The California Healthy Kids Survey is being administered in Oakland Schools during February, collecting input from students, parents, and staff to guide school improvement decisions.

Ride for a Reason

Ride for a Reason is a bike ride from Oakland to the State Capitol to draw attention to the budget crisis for public schools in California, and to raise essential funds for enrichment programs in Oakland.

Junior and Senior Prom Information

Tickets will be on sale in the Treasurer’s office for Senior and Junior from February 13 until March 2nd for $75.00 per person.

CAHSEE Boot Camp

The Scribe seeking members

The Oakland Tech school newspaper “The Scribe” is actively seeking new members. Meetings are held each Monday after school from 3:45 to 4:30pm in Room 239.

Yearbooks on Sale

Yearbooks are currently on sale for $55. This year’s book will be 200 pages, and the theme is “Every Face Tells a Story.”

College Crunch Days

Oakland Tech Seniors can receive free college application submission assistance, November 2-4, 8:30-3:30 in the Library.
