Scholarship Amount: 8 to 10 $1000 awards, renewable for one year
Eligibility: The Asian Pacific Fund will grant eight to 10 scholarships of $1,000 to students attending a Bay Area community college with a strong commitment to transferring to a four-year college or university. Eligibility Criteria: Full-time enrollment in a Bay Area community college in 2010-2011; Asian heritage; Minimum grade-point average of 3.0; Strong commitment to transferring to a four-year college or university Residency in one of the following Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara or Solano
