Scholarship: Jenny Franchot Berkeley Prize Essay Contest

Sponsor/Organization: Early Academic Outreach Program

Scholarship Amount: $1000. One award will be granted to an Oakland Tech student.

Eligibility: Open to 12th grade students at Oakland Tech. 500-1000 word essay on this topic: "Spirituality comes in many forms. Pick a particular moment from a book or story that you have read and discuss why that moment seems spiritual to you and/or what spiritual issues it raises." 

Application Deadline: Received (not postmarked) by April 19, 2011.
