Scholarship: East Bay Consortium of Educational Institutions / Cal-SOAP Scholarship

Sponsor/Organization: East Bay Consortium of Educational Institutions / Cal-SOAP

Scholarship Amount: 35 scholarships for students attending 4-year colleges or universities. Approximately ten scholarships for students attending community colleges. Amount of awards will vary.

Eligibility: Seniors who will graduate in June 2011 from: a) Oakland Unified School District high schools b) Berkeley High School c) Richmond High School d) St. Elizabeth High School OR e) Seniors who have participated in at least 3 East Bay Consortium’s Events 2. Will be attending a 4-year accredited college or university, OR a community college. 3. Cumulative minimum 2.8 GPA, if attending a 4-year institution, or cumulative minimum 2.0 GPA if attending a community college. 4. Demonstrated active participation in extra curricular activities. 5. Financial Need. 6. If eligible, MUST apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Note:Tech students are eligible even if they have not participated in East Bay Consortium events.
