Scholarship: Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. Scholarship Fund

Sponsor/Organization: Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Alpha Chapter 

Eligibility: Eligibility • Be of Chicana/Latina background • Be a High School Senior with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. • Will attend a junior college, vocational school or a four-year institution in the fall semester of 2010 • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is not a requirement for this scholarship and will not be reviewed in considering. Applications are evaluated on the following: •Academic Achievement (including GPA, Awards, Honors) • Letter of recommendation (from a teacher, supervisor, advisor, etc., but not from a family member) • Personal Statement • Community Involvement • Financial Need
