Scholarship Amount: Three students - $1,000 One student - $2,000

Eligibility: --African American graduating high school students residing in Alameda or Contra Costa counties and enrolled in four (4) year program at a university or college for the Fall 2010 and Winter 2011 semesters. --Alameda/ Contra Costa Resident --Cumulative GPA of 2.5/ 4.0 Scale --Active in Community Service Initiatives --Meets the Criteria set forth by all four Cardinal Principals : Manhood-Having a since of responsibility and manly qualities. Scholarship-Ability to show quality performance inside as well as outside the classroom. Perseverance-The ability to start a task and finish it despite difficulties. Uplift- The ability to elevate or raise those around you.
