Scholarship: NCGA Youth on Course Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1000 a year for four years. Five awards.
Eligibility: The Youth on Course Scholarship is open to all northern California high school seniors who will attend a four-year college or university. Minimum gpa 3.0. Scholarship: By Any Dreams Necessary Scholarship
Scholarship Amount: Four $500 scholarships
Eligibility: The By Any Dreams Necessary College Scholarship is awarded to students who are passionate about and inclined toward the arts, and who seek to attend a four-year college/university, or an art focused institution of higher education upon graduating from high school. Four high school seniors will be awarded $500 scholarships at the culmination of the 2010/2011 academic year.
The scholarship is available to students who attend public high schools in Berkeley, Oakland, and West Contra Costa, or who are enrolled in select art-focused partner high schools.
Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 (weighted) in courses that fulfill the University of California and California State University A-G requirements.

Scholarship: Asian Employees Association at the Port of Oakland Scholarships

Eligibility: Criteria for Scholarship Application:
Applicant must be a resident of the City of Oakland and currently enrolled in an Oakland public or private high school. Applicants who are children of the Port of Oakland employees may be enrolled in any high school.
Applicants of any ethnic or cultural background are encouraged to apply.
Applicant must be a high school senior who intends to pursue a bachelor's degree at an accredited university or college on a full time basis.
Applicant must possess an overall grade point average of 3.0 (B average) or better.
The AEA Scholarship Committee will carefully review all applications. Selected applicants will be invited to interview with the committee and awarded scholarships based on:
