Scholarship: By Any Dreams Necessary Scholarship
Scholarship Amount: Four $500 scholarships
Eligibility: The By Any Dreams Necessary College Scholarship is awarded to students who are passionate about and inclined toward the arts, and who seek to attend a four-year college/university, or an art focused institution of higher education upon graduating from high school. Four high school seniors will be awarded $500 scholarships at the culmination of the 2010/2011 academic year. The scholarship is available to students who attend public high schools in Berkeley, Oakland, and West Contra Costa, or who are enrolled in select art-focused partner high schools. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 (weighted) in courses that fulfill the University of California and California State University A-G requirements.
