Scholarship: Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards
Sponsor/Organization: Hispanic Heritage Foundation
Scholarship Amount: $3000, $2000 and $1000.Gold Medallion recipients are eligible for an additional $5,000 educational grant, a laptop computer, and an all expense paid trip to attend the Hispanic Heritage Awards in Washington, DC.
Eligibility: The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards run annually from January through June and honor young Latino leaders with grants for their college education. This year the online application is available in JANUARY through March and is open to graduating high school seniors of Hispanic/Latino descent who maintain an un-weighted 3.0 GPA. Award categories include Academic Excellence, Business, Education (future teachers), Engineering and Mathematics, Journalism, Leadership, and Sports. More categories are added each year and are subject to change without notice.
