Scholarship: Marcus Foster Education Fund Scholarship: Port of Oakland Employees Scholarship
Sponsor/Organization: Marcus Foster Education Fund
Scholarship Amount: Up to ten awards of $3,000 and up to four awards of $1,500 this spring (2012) for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Eligibility: • 2.5 GPA
• Community activities
Must be entering undergraduate studies at an accredited post-secondary institution or an accredited career-training program at a licensed vocational school in the summer or fall of 2013.
A 2.5 GPA is required for the community college/vocational school award and a 3.0 GPA for all other awards.

Scholarship: QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship Scholarship
Eligibility: • Academically outstanding high school juniors
• Low income backgrounds
This program provides students with the essential know-how needed to be successful applicants to the nation’s most selective colleges. The awards are designed to prepare high-achieving, low-income juniors to apply to top colleges and to educate them about the strong financial aid offered by these institutions.

Scholarship: Italian Catholic Federation Scholarships
Scholarship Amount: $400 awards and additional funds in subsequent years.
