Scholarship Amount: Up to ten awards of $3,000 and up to four awards of $1,500 this spring (2012) for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Eligibility: • 2.5 GPA • Community activities Must be entering undergraduate studies at an accredited post-secondary institution or an accredited career-training program at a licensed vocational school in the summer or fall of 2013. Sons of Italy Western Foundation Academic Scholarship

Scholarship: Sons of Italy Western Foundation Academic Scholarship

Sponsor/Organization: Sons of Italy Western Foundation and the Grand Lodge of California, Order Sons of Italy in America

Scholarship Amount: $500.00 to $5,000.00. Additionally, Italian Language Study Grants are available for a one-month complete immersion course in Italian language at an Italian College.

Eligibility: Scholarships will be awarded to students graduating from public or private high schools in California, Nevada, and Klamath Falls, Oregon. Applicants must be wholly or partly of Italian ancestry. Selection will be based on scholastic record, activities evidencing leadership, financial need, written personal goals statement, Essay of Italian Origin, and letters of recommendation.
