Tech Bulldog Closet Donation Drive Huge Success: Thank You!

The Tech Bulldog Closet Donation Drive held in Dec. raised over $1,500 in donated grocery store gift cards, which were distributed to more than forty Tech families to provide extra support during our long two week break. The remaining cards will be used in case of emergencies for any students or their families in immediate need or are in transition. In addition to the grocery store gift cards, donations were made in Target gift cards and to the Bulldog Closet Amazon account. These gift cards were used for families that had specific needs such as shoes or a winter coat. The remaining funds will continue to be used for any students and their families with a specific need.

We want to extend a big thank you to the Tech parents, alumni and community members (thank you, Reunion Oakland and Holy Names!) who donated to this years annual holiday drive.

We were able to serve more Tech families in need and restock the Bulldog Closet so it can continue to be an ongoing resource for Tech students. Another big thank you to all the parent volunteers that have helped the Bulldog Closet grow this year and continue to help serve our families by donating their time (and muscle) to our food bank program. We couldn’t do this without your support and generosity!
