Wednesday September 4th is Back to School Night (BTSN) at Oakland Tech! This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, counselors, and all the support staff that are here to serve our students.
For the main campus, BTSN will begin promptly at 6:00pm in the auditorium with a welcome presentation from the admin team. Afterwards, parents will visit their child’s teachers in order. Here is a link to the schedule.
We will also have the following:
The College and Career Center (CCC) is having an Open House from 4:00 – 8:00pm, with presentations every 30 minutes. You can find the CCC in the basement in Room 16.
We will also have Aeries assistance for parents hosted by Phil Williams in the library from 5pm onward. If you need help creating an Aeries parent portal (which everyone should have!) or if you have questions about Aeries, please drop by.
Taylor Wallace, our awesome After-School Program Coordinator, will be available in the main building lobby from 5pm onward to share information about our after-school programs. Stop by if you are interested in enrolling your child in an afterschool program, or if you just want to find out more about our offerings!
We’re hoping to also have Coaches and Counselors available to meet parents and answer questions (location & timing TBD).
If your child has Upper Campus (UC) classes, UC teachers will host presentations earlier in the day at 4:30, 4:45, 5:00, and 5:15pm. You can attend them in any order.
We look forward to seeing you!
