Alameda County Food Bank has continued our enrollment in the Backpack Program for the 2019-2020 school year.  The food bank delivers 6-9 pound bags of non-perishable food for students and families experiencing food insecurity every two weeks. Bags are picked up by students, or parents/guardians at the school site. This service will most likely be beginning mid-September or October.

To enroll please call/text Nurse Amanda at 530-618-7889, or email at amanda.epperson@ousd.org.

Monetary Donations to the Bulldog Closet

The Bulldog Closet is partnering with the Oakland Education Fund to ensure financial oversight, streamline services, and provide tax donation receipts for donors. They will be taking over the Bulldog Closet Amazon account making it easier to order and supply the closet when supplies runs low, or a student needs a specialized item. With this collaboration the program will also be able to purchase bus passes and clipper cards for students and families in need.

Donations can be made by following this link, and writing Bulldog Closet in the comment section. Any donations with Bulldog Closet in the comment section will be restricted and can only be used by the program to supply the closet and provide associated services.
