School NewsComments Off on Oakland Tech Registration is Online Through the Aeries Parent Portal

As Oakland Tech responds to the requirements of the COVID-19 restrictions, we have moved registration online. All families may register online this year by using their Aeries Parent Portal account.

The district Student Welcome Center has video instructions for registration in English and Spanish. You can view the videos below:

Families who don’t know their Aeries Parent Portal username can call the Student Welcome Center at 510-879-4600 or email them at enroll@ousd.org.

Families who know the parent email that is on file with the school can go to the Aeries login page and click “Forgot Password” to reset.

Additional Registration Materials

In addition to the Emergency Information and Authorizations that are required in the Aeries Parent Portal, we need families to complete these additional materials. All of these can be done online.

It is highly encouraged to complete this form as it provides additional benefits to you and the district such as grants, program funding, athletic waivers, and textbooks assistance, among others. The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost, or free lunches to children each school day. Parents/guardians of all OUSD students are encouraged to apply. Not only could your child qualify for reduced price or free meals, but his/her school could receive much needed Title I funding as a result. Click here for more information »

OUSD has the goal of assuring that every student has at least a laptop and a high-speed Internet connection. This survey is the first step if your student is in need of technology.

Since 2000, we have been providing high quality, youth-friendly services that include medical care, reproductive health, sports physicals, immunizations and management of acute and chronic conditions to Oakland Technical High School students. We also serve students enrolled at nearby Oakland International High School and recent graduates from both schools up to the age of 21. In addition, we provide individual and group counseling, and case management services. Patients are seen by a clinical health educator who conducts one-on-one appointments that cover issues such as sexual health, birth control, and nutrition. The Parent/Guardian Consent Form is required for certain services. Please call the Techniclinic for more details at 510-450-5461, or send an email to the clinic supervisor, Angie Serrano, at aserrano@laclinica.org.
