A Message From Principal Fairly: With Your Help, We Can Keep the Change Alive

Thank you to the students who have participated in our Student Listening Campaign. Your voices will make a difference!

On April 20, our nation saw that it is possible for a clear-minded jury to reach a just outcome for a terrible crime. It is a step, but many more steps are needed.

At Oakland Tech, we are committed to forming a school that is a place of safety and confidence for our students to learn. It is an every-day process, and we need to recommit to it each morning.

When we all come together as a whole school again in August, we will still need to hear from you — our students are our most important treasure. Each of you contains the potential to be a king or a queen or a monarch — a leader in your community and your profession.

As a school, we commit to welcoming every young person with respect and joy. We are here for YOU!

Mr. Fairly, Principal
