The April 20th PTSA meeting featured a ton of great information about Work-Based Learning (WBL) resources and opportunities available for your student. Our special guests at the meeting were Terrance Holliday, Oakland Tech’s Work-Based Learning Liaison, and Greg Cluster, OUSD’s Work-Based Learning Coordinator. Here is a link to their presentation at the meeting:

As you’ll see in the slides, the district’s program ECCCO Internship Support Program provides coaching and guidance to internship hosts and stipends to student interns. One key topic was the request for internship leads. Please take a minute to review this information to see if your organization or one you are familiar with could host an intern:
