African American Student Action Planners (AASAP) is a committee of parents, teachers, students and school administrators dedicated to increasing the academic and life success of Tech’s African American students. Everyone interested furthering our mission is encouraged to add their voice and energy to our group. Please join us from 6 to 7 PM in the Tech library. Hope to see you there!

AASAP Goals
  • Increase the number of African-American students who graduate from Oakland Tech
  • Increase the attendance of African-American students
  • Increase parent involvement at Oakland Tech and parent participation on other school committees
  • Create and encourage a college bound culture and career readiness for African-American students.
