All Tech parents and caregivers are strongly encouraged to attend Tech’s Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, Sept. 5. This is an great and important opportunity for you to meet your student’s teachers, learn about course goals and expectations, and review the year ahead.
The Main Campus program begins 6 PM sharp in the auditorium and runs until 8:30 PM. The Upper Campus program is from 4:30 to 5:45 PM.
Upper Campus teachers will give presentations at 4:30, 4:50, 5:10 & 5:30 PM. Visit your student’s Upper Campus class(es) in any order. Parking is available on the blacktop. Enter through the gate on Broadway Terrace.
Stop by the College & Career Center in the lower level of the main campus for a fun and informative “Happy Hour” any time from 4 to 5:45 PM. We will be serving non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks while you check out our newly remodeled space. Take advantage of this great opportunity to meet Ms. Hunter, OT’s College Readiness Specialist, and learn about the resources available to students and programs for OT families.
If you haven’t set up your AERIES.net Parent account yet, help is at hand. Stop by the library between 5:30 and 8:30 PM to get your account up and running, right there and then. With AERIES.net, you can access invaluable information regarding student grades, attendance and much more.
At Back to School Night, students in 9th and 12th grades who qualify for Free or Reduced meals can sign up to receive a free Sprint cell phone. Students must have completed a lunch application this year. If they haven’t yet, they can pick up an application in the Main office. A parent or official guardian must be at Back to School Night to sign the consent form.
