All Tech parents and caregivers are strongly encouraged to attend Tech’s Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, Sept. 5. This is an great and important opportunity for you to meet your student’s teachers, learn about course goals and expectations, and review the year ahead. 

The Main Campus program begins 6 PM sharp in the auditorium and runs until 8:30 PM. The Upper Campus program is from 4:30 to 5:45 PM.

Upper Campus Program

Upper Campus teachers will give presentations at 4:30, 4:50, 5:10 & 5:30 PM. Visit your student’s Upper Campus class(es) in any order. Parking is available on the blacktop. Enter through the gate on Broadway Terrace.

What to Expect 

  • Back-to-School Night is intended for parents and guardians. However, we recognize that childcare may be an issue for some families, in which case children are welcome to attend
  • Parking will be challenging at the Main Campus, so please allow enough time to find a spot and get to the auditorium
  • The evening will start promptly at 6 PM in the auditorium where you’ll hear from the principal and other school leaders before heading out to the classrooms
  • You’ll follow your student’s schedule beginning with 1st Period
  • 0 Period presentations take place at the end of the evening (after 6th Period)
  • Bulldog Hoodies will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30 PM in front of the auditorium. Pay by cash, check or debit/credit card — $30 (XS, S, M, L & XL) and $35 (2X & 3X). Available in purple and grey in most sizes

Bring Your Student’s Class Schedule

Please print your student’s schedule from Aeries and bring it with you. Alternately, click here to print a blank class schedule for your student to fill in. 

College & Career Center “Happy Hour”

Stop by the College & Career Center in the lower level of the main campus for a fun and informative “Happy Hour” any time from 4 to 5:45 PM. We will be serving non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks while you check out our newly remodeled space. Take advantage of this great opportunity to meet Ms. Hunter, OT’s College Readiness Specialist, and learn about the resources available to students and programs for OT families.

Set Up Your Parent Account

If you haven’t set up your Parent account yet, help is at hand. Stop by the library between 5:30 and 8:30 PM to get your account up and running, right there and then. With, you can access invaluable information regarding student grades, attendance and much more. 

Free Sprint Phone

At Back to School Night, students in ​9th​ ​and​ ​12th​ ​grades​ who​ ​qualify​ ​for​ ​Free​ ​or​ ​Reduced​ ​meals​ ​can​ ​sign up​ ​to​ ​receive​ ​a​ ​free​ ​Sprint​ ​cell​ ​phone.​ ​​Students​ ​must​ ​have​ ​completed​ ​a​ ​lunch​ ​application​ ​this​ ​year.​ ​​If​ ​they haven’t yet,​ ​they​ ​can​ ​pick​ ​up​ ​an ​application​ ​in​ ​the​ ​Main​ ​office.​ ​​A​ ​parent​ ​or official guardian must​ ​be​ ​at​ ​Back​ ​to​ ​School Night​ ​to​ ​sign​ ​the​ ​consent​ ​form.​ ​​
