The Oakland Unified School District, Office of Equity and African American Female Excellence are proud to present the 1st Annual Black Girl Power Conference, Saturday, Oct. 7, from 9 AM to 4 PM at Mills College.

The goal of the BGPC is to activate the power of Black girls and young women. This conference will present workshops focusing on the particular experiences of Black girls and young women through: love, cultural enrichment, life skills development, academic and professional development, womanhood development, career development and more.
