The Bulldog Parents Book Club is a group of Tech parents who are interested in reading and discussing some of the novels that our kids are reading in school this year. Joining is a good way to prepare for lively literary discussions at home and to meet other Tech book-loving parents.

Our first meeting is Sept. 26, from 7:15 to 9 PM in the Principal’s Conference room, where we’ll discuss The Quiet American by Grahram Greene, one of the assigned books this summer.

Reading of this first book is not required and we encourage you to attend. We will review this year’s book lists sent by Tech 9th grade English teachers, and choose a book to read and discuss at our next meeting. At future meetings we will choose books from the sophomore, junior and senior reading lists.  All parents are welcome to attend one or all of our five meetings this year.

We hope to see you there!

If you have any questions, please contact Wayne Diamond at 510-604-3072 or Waynedianediamond@gmail.com
