Please join us for a Community Discussion about Reforming Prop 13 and Fixing California’s Schools on May 14, 6:30-8:00pm.

Want to fix the systemic funding shortfalls facing California’s public schools? Join Peralta families and community members in a conversation with Campaign Director Ben Grieff from Evolve California to learn about a November 2020 ballot measure to close the corporate loophole in Prop 13. Passage of the California Schools and Local Communities Funding Act will bring in $11 billion per year to California’s schools, community colleges, health clinics, and other vital local services.

The event is free and open to the public – and feel free to circulate the attached flyer. Details as follows:

  • Tuesday, May 14, 6:30-8:00pm
  • Peralta Elementary School – Multipurpose Room, 460 63rd Street

This event is sponsored by the Peralta Racial Justice Group and Peralta Parent Teacher Group.

Hope to see you there.
