Virtual College Advising
Oakland Tech's college adviser, Mr. Marvin, is available for virtual college advising with students. Mr. Marvin works with UC Berkeley’s Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) and Destination College Advising Corps (DCAC), but you do not have to be enrolled in these programs to receive support. Students can contact Mr. Marvin through text at (916) 562-0129, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org to ask any direct questions or schedule an appointment through Google Hangout or Zoom.
Techniclinic Alternatives During School Closure
Oakland Tech’s Techniclinic will be closed during the OUSD school closure. However, La Clinica de la Raza has other school-linked clinics that are not located inside schools. All students are invited to use these clinics to attend to medical, dental, and counseling needs during this time.
